Tongue-Tie & Latch Support
Feeding is one of the first ways you and your baby connect, so when latching is hard it can feel discouraging for everyone. A tongue, lip, or cheek tie is a tight band of tissue that can make latching and feeding harder, and tension through the jaw and neck can add to the challenge.
Can chiropractic help?
With a tongue, lip or cheek tie, we offer gentle bodywork and oral work to ease nervous system tension and support comfortable movement. Many families notice feeding feels easier as tension relaxes. We also love to support families alongside a revision, if necessary. We recommend chiropractic care before and after a revision to assess what the body is doing along its healing process.
What a visit looks like
Your first visit includes a conversation about your baby, a gentle INSiGHT nervous system scan, and a feather-light first adjustment. Babies can be checked in the first days and weeks of life, and care is always tailored to your newborn's age and size.

How does chiropractic support a baby with tongue-tie?
We use gentle bodywork and oral work to ease tension through the jaw, neck, and spine that can come with a tongue, lip, or cheek tie, supporting more comfortable movement and feeding. We love to support families before and after a revision, if one is needed.
Is chiropractic safe for my baby?
Dr. Hayley is trained to deliver a safe and gentle adjustment for all, specific to their age, size and what they have going on. There is no popping or cracking in a baby's adjustment. We use light fingertip pressure, no more than you would use to test the ripeness of a tomato, grounded in advanced ICPA training.
How old does my baby need to be?
Babies can be checked in the first days and weeks of life. Care is always tailored to your newborn's age and size with the gentlest possible approach.
