How might chiropractic support digestion in babies?
Birth and early positioning can leave tension along a baby's spine, right where the nerves that help run digestion travel. We use gentle, specific care, along with light belly work, to ease that tension and support comfortable movement through the tummy. Many families notice their baby seems calmer and passes gas and stools more easily.
Is chiropractic safe for my baby?
Dr. Hayley is trained to deliver a safe and gentle adjustment for all, specific to their age, size and what they have going on. There is no popping or cracking in a baby's adjustment. We use light fingertip pressure, no more than you would use to test the ripeness of a tomato, grounded in advanced ICPA training.
How old does my baby need to be?
Babies can be checked in the first days and weeks of life. Care is always tailored to your newborn's age and size with the gentlest possible approach.
